Patient Flows

Patient flows is an interactive tool that uses Hospital Episode Statistics (HES) data to geographically display flows of patients to NHS Providers of secondary care. It is designed to give an indication of where patients are receiving their treatment in relation to the area in which they live. Flows are identified between the centroid of the area that the patient is resident in and ending at the NHS provider responsible for the treatment.
