Crisis care profile and data catalogue
Metrics and datasets on mental health crisis care.
The crisis care profile has local level data related to mental health crisis care. The data is presented within the five domains of: understanding need, access to support before crisis, urgent and emergency access, quality of treatment and preventing future crisis.
The crisis care data catalogue lists metrics and datasets relevant to mental health crisis care. It includes links to data sources, availability of data and the geography at which the data is published.
The crisis care profiling tool and data catalogue form part of a sector-wide drive towards using data to support the commissioning and delivery of effective mental health crisis care. It is for commissioners, policy makers, planners, service providers and advocacy groups in each local area to identify available data on crisis care, and to use data to ensure there are effective mental health crisis care services in England. The crisis care profile supports the planning and implementation of local Crisis Care Concordat action plans.
The crisis care profile will continue to be developed and improved, and future versions will include more data on crisis care as this becomes available. If you have any feedback please send comments and suggestions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
