Health Intelligence Practice Profiles and PCT Level Profiles
We are pleased to confirm that the newly refreshed practice profiles for Yorkshire and Humber are now available. Updated data includes the 2008/09 Quality and Outcomes Framework and General Practice Patient Survey 2008/09. The presentation of the data has been improved and developed and a number of profiles for new practices are also now available. Users have the ability to download the existing profiles (2007/08) and the newly refreshed profiles (2008/09) here.
We have also taken the opportunity to reformat the 2007/08 profiles to align them with the 2008/09 profiles.
We have also released summary PCT level profiles for all PCTs in Yorkshire and Humber.
"The Next Stage Review and establishment of a primary care think tank in Yorkshire and Humber gave us a real opportunity to drive forward primary care in the region. We felt strongly that there was a need for consistent, quality assured information to provide a picture of each practice's population, the quality of the services they are providing, their capacity and how accessible they are and how they manage the care of their patients. These profiles produced by the public health observatory are an excellent first step in providing this information in a useable and accessible format"
