These atlases show hospital admissions for the following 6 primary diagnoses and 3 procedure codes;
- Asthma ICD10: J45,J46
- AMI ICD10 : I21-I22
- IHD ICD10 : I20, I23-I25
- CHD ICD10: I20-I25
- COPD ICD10: J40-J44
- Stroke ICD10 : I60-I69
primary procedures;
- Revascularisation OPCS : K40-K46, K49-K50
all procedures;
- Hips OPCS : W37-W39, W46- W48
- Knees OPCS : W40-W42
In addition, the local authority atlas shows overall admission rates
To view these atlases, you may need to install adobe flash viewer or equivalent software.
The PCT atlas using the new boundaries contains the most recent, 2006/07 data on admissions for Asthma, CHD and Stroke.
HES Standard Output – Set 1 – heart disease
This dataset is available for download in MS EXCEL format and as printable
charts. These include admissions to hospital by PCT for the following procedures/diagnoses:
- Angiograph
- Revascularisation (CABGs and PTCA)
- CHD
- Heart failure
- Stroke

These datasets are available for download in MS EXCEL format. These include admissions
to hospital during 2000/01 - 2002/03 for the following:
- Rates for: alcohol misuse by PCT; substance misuse by PCT. View
