Diabetes Prevalence Model (APHO)
YHPHO has become part of Public Health England, joining its Knowledge and Intelligence Team (Northern and Yorkshire).
About the model
The APHO Diabetes Prevalence Model provides estimates of total (diagnosed and undiagnosed) diabetes prevalence for people aged 16
years and older for 2009, 2010, 2015, 2020, 2025 and 2030. Estimates are provided for Strategic Health Authorities and Primary
Care Trusts in England, Health Boards in Scotland and Local Authorities in Wales. These estimates in tabular and map format are
available in spreadsheets for England, Scotland and Wales. The APHO Diabetes Prevalence Model replaces the PBS Diabetes Prevalence
Model.
The spreadsheets associated with this tool have not been fully tested with Excel 2010.
