NCVIN Masterclass 2016/17: a pathway approach

These masterclasses are for commissioners and wider partners to increase their understanding of how data and information improves the quality of care and outcomes for people with cardiovascular disease.

There are presentations on:

  • how to use a wide range of data and information to identify the opportunities across the cardiovascular disease
  • adopting the NHS Right Care approach and accessing the support available through this new and innovative programme

National experts from the national audit programmes will deliver disease specific workshops. This will include:

  • an in depth view of the wide range of data, tools and information available across the treatment pathway
  • a detailed discussion on ‘where to look’ and ‘what to change’ with examples and case studies of ‘how to change’

These workshops will provide practical signposting of CVD data and information available to support multiagency CVD bids.

Masterclasses will begin at 12.00 for lunch with an opportunity for local networking and a 12.30pm start. The sessions are free to all NHS health professionals within CCGs, local authorities and clinical services with an interest in cardiovascular disease data tools and information.
